I went a few days deliberating whether or not G-d would be pleased with me for doing this. After going to sleep, waking up, and going back to sleep a few times with Katie continuously in the forefront my thoughts, I reminded myself that G-d knows what is in my heart & mind. Although I am committing a sin here, I am doing it in order to prove to my darling love that I never want us to be apart.
Over the last 20 years, while the sinful world kept us apart, my mind drifted to her time & time again. Since we reconnected in August 2023 – as I was in full-blown spiritual crisis – I have come to know & love G-d through His comforting words. I have my wife to thank for this. I want to be sure that she and I will be together forever, and this is the only means I’ve found in support of that end.
