Now, step back to Friday, February 17, 2023. The first night I rode my scooter East out on the Island, hoping I’d casually see you or vice versa. I went out Merrick from South Jamaica and got switched up & turned around, consuming way over 50% battery before turning back on my 1st Segway GT2. I had to walk it a few miles home, and it was freezing outside. I woke up around noon the next day, hearing ThE VoIcEs for the very first time.
Some weeks later, when I made it out to MicroCenter in Westbury, I was confused how it could ALSO be on “Merrick.” I see now there’s a Merrick Road and a Merrick Avenue. Both converge in the Hamlet of Merrick. Got it.
