Before designing today’s lil slice of Photoshop Mischief, I had to completely reinstall Windows 11 on my laptop. Various background processes kept spawning, maxing out its i7 CPU (mind you, it worked just fine the day prior) and when I started manually disabling things in Services.msc and Regedit, I broke the wi-fi.
Back in January, this woulda gone on GrantFaber.org under “Digital Anomalies.” Now, I think we’ve transitioned from panicked cries for help to gentle ribbing (for your pleasure – anonymous reader of legal, consenting age and intermediate spookiness.)
I’ll eventually end up switching to Apple for my main computer, as I did with my phone in May 2024 to combat the noticeable infiltration of my old Samsung. That’s not to say ALL iOS apps are immune to the deep state. For some reason, my banking notifications keep arriving a day late. Are y’all having fun?
