Todaisy is a bit mangled. This was not my intention, and I should note – this time, its rough condition has nothing to do with a raging Nassau County Police Detective shoving it into my backpack while ignoring my Miranda rights. I should have picked one up at Flushing Flower earlier, but I wanted to visit Sonia’s on Willis Avenue. I haven’t been there in a while, and they were instrumental in proving that someone in the deep state has violated my First Amendment (et al.) rights.
I first traveled to Lower Manhattan to pray and chat with my homeless friend. After that, I needed to go to Hicksville. While I was in police custody last Friday, I was taken to Nassau University Medical Center for an evaluation. They concluded the same thing as over a dozen other physicians since September 2022: I have an ear infection. So, they sent a prescription to the Walgreens on Old Country Road in Westbury. It wasn’t in stock there, so it was transferred to Hicksville.
I boarded a train in Penn Station at the height of the 5pm rush hour. During the ride, I met a foreign tourist headed to Stony Brook. He missed his connection, so I shepherded him for a ways. This prevented me from reaching the florist before closing time.

Yesterday, I visited Trinity Church in Lower Manhattan. You have to go through a metal detector first, and this daisy didn’t make it through the x-ray machine with its stem attached. I saved the flower (by GENTLY placing it inside my backpack. Unlike SOME people – specifically, Detective Hausmann.) My apologies, anonymous reader, but it’s all I’ve got tonight.
